Job Summary:

The Clinical EMR Trainer plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation and training of the electronic medical record at Rady Children's Hospital. This position works closely with the clinical leadership team and staff to ensure seamless adoption of the EMR system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts and coordinates training sessions, workshops, and seminars for clinical staff.
  • Collaborates with IS and clinical areas to facilitate training of clinical technology and computer applications.
  • Develops and maintains training materials, including continuing education programs.
  • Serves as an active member on hospital committees related to clinical education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a field related to the position.
  • 3 years of experience in clinical training or a related field.
  • EPIC certification(s) as appropriate to specific training responsibilities or to be obtained within 6 months from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a field related to the position.
  • 5 years of experience in clinical training or a related field.
  • Five years of previous clinical experience in Pediatrics.
  • California RN License.

Compensation:

The expected hiring range for this position is $39.51 to $54.33. Rady Children's Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
