Job Title: Infant Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage daily activities for a class of infants, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive needs are met.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning and exploration, while also encouraging social and emotional development.
  • Nurture and inspire our infants, creating a sense of wonder and curiosity that will last a lifetime.
  • Foster a passion for lifelong learning, encouraging our children to explore, discover, and grow.
  • Regularly assess each child's developmental needs, providing individualized attention and support.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that promotes creativity, exploration, and decision-making.
  • Attend all mandatory staff meetings, workshops, and school functions, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations related to the health, safety, and welfare of children, ensuring a secure and supportive environment.
  • Demonstrate a consistently professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic, setting a positive example for our children and colleagues.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and clutter-free classroom environment, with a strong emphasis on sanitation and hygiene.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
Qualifications:
  • Meet all state requirements for this position, including any necessary certifications or training.
  • Minimum of 1 year of childcare experience, specifically with children under the age of 3.
  • Pleasant and outgoing demeanor, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptionally professional and dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities, adept at multitasking and effectively managing time in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to interact with students of all ages and skill levels, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. in situations related to child handling for program facilitation, child safety, and potential emergencies.
