Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Resident Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Resident Care Director (RCD) and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of resident care, including medical records and incident reports.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and monitor resident response to medications and treatments.
  • Infection Control: Implement and maintain infection control practices, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment, and disposal of infectious waste.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including quality care indicators and outcomes, to ensure continuous improvement in resident care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
  • Licensure: Current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting, including home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
  • Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to health and wellness resident care, and federal, state, and local regulations.
