Job Description

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our Compliance Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions for a highly scalable, fault-tolerant KPI and Evidence Management platforms. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and users to translate business requirements into technical solutions, evaluate and recommend technologies and frameworks to achieve optimal system performance and reliability, and work closely with other team members on design and architecture decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement solutions for a highly scalable, fault-tolerant KPI and Evidence Management platforms
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and users to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and frameworks to achieve optimal system performance and reliability
  • Work closely with other team members on design and architecture decisions
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of your code to ensure accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance for your solutions
  • Raise security and compliance awareness within Datadog and advocate best practices for compliance across other Engineering teams
  • Support ad-hoc audit requests for evidence and convert it into an automated continuous monitoring solution
Requirements
  • Passion and demonstrated experience in designing, building, and managing distributed systems, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a meticulous approach to architectural design and implementation
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, etc.
  • Ability to mentor other engineers and collaborate with stakeholders and customers
