Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems
  • Implement server-side logic, APIs, and database structures
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
  • Ensure security and data protection across applications
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for maximum efficiency
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Manage and optimize database performance and queries
  • Participate in code reviews and continuous integration processes
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Seven (7) years of experience in software development
  • Experience as a software developer or software engineer with at least one programming language
  • Experience with Java and Object-oriented programming
  • In-depth knowledge of architecture styles and APIs, including REST and SOAP
  • Knowledge of containerization tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Experience with ElasticSearch
  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment
  • Understanding of GIS concepts and ESRI tools
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
