Job Summary

This position is a critical component of the New Mexico Corrections Department, responsible for assisting the Records Supervisor in logging and tracking all inmate release dates. The ideal candidate will possess experience in records management, Microsoft Suite, and inmate classification processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize various computer software applications to track inmate release dates
* Handle hard copies of inmate files with accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

* High School Diploma or Equivalent and six (6) months of work experience in customer service, records management techniques, and procedures
* Experience with Microsoft Suite and records management software
* Ability to work in a correctional facility and maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions

This position is designed to be safety-sensitive, and employment is subject to pre-employment and random testing in accordance with Federal and State law, rules, and regulations. The successful candidate will be required to possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License and undergo a pre-employment background check.
