Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at International SOS Government Medical Services. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic screenings, including physical evaluations and patient interviews, to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement anesthesia plans, taking into account patient medical history, current health status, and surgical requirements.
  • Administer various types of anesthesia, including inhalation, regional, intravenous, local, and topical anesthetics, while continuously monitoring patient vital signs and responding to any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment to ensure optimal functionality and patient safety.
Requirements
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
  • Certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (CCNA) or equivalent.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification.
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • DEA License.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card.
  • Ability to relocate to the project site for the duration of the contract.
  • Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.
Working Conditions
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping, and lifting to 15 lbs.
