Job Title: Archaeologist

As an Archaeologist, you'll play a critical role in our environmental team, leveraging your expertise to drive projects forward and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute archaeological surveys, testing, and data recovery methods to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, agency personnel, and Native American tribal members to provide well-reasoned recommendations on site eligibility and integrity.
  • Conduct construction monitoring and participate in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality reports and results.
  • Represent Stantec in interactions with clients, agency personnel, and stakeholders, showcasing our expertise and commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Archaeology or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 0 years of experience in Cultural Resource Management; experience in California preferred.
  • Ability to travel and conduct fieldwork for extended periods, including exposure to inclement weather and physical demands such as lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
