Coffee Shop Barista

At The Parvin Group, we're seeking a skilled Coffee Shop Barista to join our team. As a key member of our coffee shop, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing top-notch service.

• Customer Service: Greet and serve customers with a standard of excellence, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Bar Operations: Operate all barista stations, including the bar, bar-back, and point-of-sale systems, with precision and efficiency.
• Cleanliness: Maintain the bar and café areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of our beverage and food menu, including coffee, tea, and pastry items.
• Preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages to order, as well as pastry and Quick Bites items, with attention to detail and consistency.

• Age: Minimum 17 years of age.
• Availability: Ability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
• Attendance: Ability to attend every monthly staff meeting.
• Punctuality and Performance: Ability to comply with punctuality and performance standards.

• Food Handler Certification: Completed within 30 days of hire.
• Barista Experience: Previous experience as a barista is a plus, but not required.
• Training: All Baristas are required to complete 100% of our POS and Barista training within 30 days of hire date.

• Hourly Rate: $7.25 - $9.50 per hour, plus $4- $6 tips, based on experience.
• Benefits: 401k and Telehealth (including mental health) after 6-month employment, with opportunities to participate in additional company benefits (health, dental, vision, etc.) if 30 hr average over 6-month employment.
• Bonuses and Raises: Bonuses and raises available, based on meeting performance goals.

Reports to: The Parvin Group Store Manager.
