Job Title: Electrical Systems Specialist

Huff Consulting is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  2. Electrical System Design and Planning: Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts and ensure efficient system operation.
  3. Electrical System Testing and Troubleshooting: Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
  4. Electrical System Repair and Replacement: Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems, and implement solutions to resolve issues, including replacing faulty electrical components.
  5. Electrical System Maintenance and Inspection: Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure their efficient operation, and inspect electrical components to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical code specifications
  • Experience with electrical system installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
