Position Title: Technical Support Specialist


Role Summary:
We are a technology support organization looking for a dedicated technical support specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and devices
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 administration
  • Support a comprehensive Google environment, including Google Workspace and Chromebooks
  • Administer Apple MAC and iOS devices
  • Provide training and assistance to end users

Additional Information:
This position is based at our client's location. The client is an educational institution serving students in grades K-8. You will collaborate with a team of IT experts responsible for the entire technology department of the client. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, approximately 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. While after-hours and weekend work is infrequent, it may occasionally be required. This role reports to a remote supervisor.


Candidate Qualifications:
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

Experience: This is an entry-level opportunity. Previous experience is not mandatory, although 1+ years in a helpdesk support role is advantageous.

Professional Presentation: You must present yourself professionally, as you will represent our organization on-site with the client daily. Clear and concise written and verbal communication is necessary.

Ability to Multitask: You will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously (tickets, projects, etc.) and be adaptable to changing priorities.

Additional Requirements: As this organization works with children, a background check will be required. Occasionally, you may need to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an educational setting and industry-standard IT certifications (A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, etc.) are considered a plus.
