We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Vice President of Psychiatry to lead our Department of Psychiatry at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of our department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, education, and research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the department's mission and goals
  • Lead and manage a team of administrative staff, faculty, and trainees to achieve departmental objectives
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to evaluate and monitor departmental performance and make data-driven decisions
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and resource allocation to ensure departmental solvency and growth
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and institutional policies
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in patient care
  • Lead and participate in departmental and hospital-wide initiatives to advance education, research, and community engagement
Requirements
  • Master's degree in business administration, public health, public administration, or related field
  • At least 10 years of administrative/management experience in an academic medical center setting
  • Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, patients, and families
