POSITION
Position Title: Investment Operations Manager
Status: Exempt, Full-time, Regular, "At-will" Work Status
Salary Range: $90,000 to $105,000
POSITION SUMMARY
In the role of Investment Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing investment operations, ensuring the precise and efficient handling of account setups, fund transfers, investment activities, and compliance protocols. You will collaborate closely with advisors, the Investment Committee, and various team members to streamline the investment workflow, manage and enhance operational processes, and meticulously maintain client and transaction documentation. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in investment operations, exceptional attention to detail, and the capability to excel in a dynamic work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Supervise the execution, reporting, and daily oversight of the firm's back-office functions, financial operations, client reporting systems, and client services.
· Facilitate the initiation, monitoring, and funding of new investment accounts.
· Update relevant systems with all client interactions, activities, and pertinent information.
· Assist the Chief Compliance Officer with daily compliance oversight and policy enforcement.
· Handle and/or delegate client inquiries with the utmost precision, delivering a high-touch service experience.
· Support clients with their daily fund transfer requirements.
· Contribute to the management of the firm's technological framework and coordinate with external service providers such as custodians and technology vendors.
· Provide general assistance to advisors in executing client financial and investment strategies.
· Participate in the recruitment process for new team members.
· Other responsibilities and tasks, as assigned periodically.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
· Four to seven years of operational experience specific to financial planning and investment operations.
· Bachelor's Degree required: Finance or Business preferred.
· Strong general technology knowledge.
- Experience with custodian account opening and maintenance platforms.
- Understanding of essential financial principles related to various account types, applicable regulations, and basic investment concepts.
- Extensive knowledge of CRM software and its applications.
- Experience with portfolio accounting software.
- Familiarity with billing and reporting concepts.
- Knowledge of financial planning and account aggregation software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet protocols.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
