\tInterfaces with a variety of external constituencies.
\tAssists the Campus Mapping and Survey Program Manager in supporting various GIS data and applications.
\tCollects, populates, and maintains data in spatial geodatabases under general supervision of the GIS Programmer.
\tPerforms tasks such as digitizing, field data collection, georeferencing, data conversion, asset mapping, utility mapping, and map generation.
\tProvides hands on support to entities utilizing GIS within the department of Finance and Operations.

\tBachelor's degree in geography, civil engineering or computer science or higher and some GIS experience.
\tValid U.S. driver's license.
\tMust be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies.
\tApplicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
\tGeneral knowledge of file formats, including those related to GIS, basic computer operations, and applicable ESRI GIS software is required.
\tExcellent verbal and electronic communication skills.
\tKnowledge of cartographic/mapping systems.
\tExperience with a relational database management system such as SQL Server.
\tExperience with manipulating and referencing CAD data.
