Summary:


Oversee or delegate responsibilities within the culinary department, ensuring the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with established recipes and production standards while strictly following food safety, handling, and sanitation protocols.

Contribute to the creation of menus for patients, staff, cafeteria, and catering services.

Ensure compliance with all relevant HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines concerning the requisition, storage, handling, and preparation of food.

Supervise the timely preparation, presentation, and execution of meals to guarantee quality, safety, and service standards are met.

Monitor and ensure adherence to standardized recipes in food preparation and maintain accurate production records.

Review menus and special requests to assess the types and quantities of food items required for preparation. Communicate any shortages or concerns to departmental leadership.

Assist departmental leadership with staff scheduling, problem resolution, interviewing, and performance evaluations.

Education and Certification Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
