The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in their area of expertise and contributing to the academic mission of the school.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in journalism and mass communication, including advertising, digital media, electronic media, journalism, public relations, and mass communication
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the school
- Contribute to the academic mission of the school through service and research
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and initiatives
- Master's degree in journalism and mass communication or a related field
- 18 graduate hours in the teaching field
- Professional media/communication experience
- Previous teaching experience preferred
