Job Overview

DXP Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and performing repairs on industrial equipment, including pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of worn or damaged parts, including welding and fabrication as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including documentation of work performed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks and projects.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and acceptable driving record.

Working Conditions:

The Field Service Technician will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and potentially hazardous materials. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Training and Certifications:

Some specialized training or 2+ years of mechanic experience is recommended but not required.

Shift Time/Overtime: 7:00am-4:00pm, with occasional call-backs and weekend assignments.

Travel: Must have or be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Education: High school or GED equivalent.
