About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Mechanic to join our team at Earl W. Johnston Roofing, LLC. As a Roofing Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing roof repairs, inspections, and installations on various types of roofing materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform roof repairs, replacements, and installations on tile, shingle, flat, and TPO roofing systems.
  • Inspect roofs to identify issues and determine the best course of action for repair or replacement.
  • Replace damaged or missing roofing materials, including tiles, shingles, and membranes.
  • Seal leaks and repair damaged flashing to prevent water infiltration.
  • Clean and clear debris from roofs and gutters to ensure proper drainage.
  • Work safely and efficiently to complete repairs within specified timelines.
  • Communicate with clients to explain repair options and provide estimates for services.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in roofing repair and installation.
  • Proficiency in repairing various types of roofing materials.
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong understanding of roofing techniques, materials, and safety practices.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy materials and work on roofs for extended periods.
