Job Description:

The Financial Management Director - Product Division will be responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the overall financial management of high growth businesses in the Product Division. This includes general accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and financial reporting in accordance with corporate policies and procedures and consistent with the policy on ethical practices. This position assists the CFO in ensuring that the internal controls are adequate to safeguard the facility's assets and that the accounting systems are sufficient to generate accurate and timely financial reporting.

The Financial Management Director - Product Division will be responsible for managing a growing team and overseeing the Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Payroll functions. This individual will ensure that the staff provides the highest level of technical accuracy and service excellence to all customers, both internal and external.

The responsibilities of this position include:
  • Managing a growing team and overseeing the Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Payroll functions.
  • Coordinating and supervising the completion of the monthly financial statements and financial packages for multiple businesses.
  • Completing all tax documents specific to the Product Division businesses, including annual tax packages, property tax accruals, sales and use tax returns, and property tax valuation returns.
  • Coordinating and supervising the completion of the annual operating budget financial statements, including all income and expense reports and statistical reports for the Product Division businesses.
  • Working with various departments across the individual businesses to ensure the proper utilization and accounting of capital and operating resources.
  • Coordinating and supervising the retrieval and development of all supporting documents and analyses related to internal and external audits, including Medicare Cost Report and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Completing and coordinating ad hoc projects and preparing related spreadsheets, analyses, and other materials needed to support the Product Group businesses.
Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, years of financial experience, CPA certification preferred, and knowledge of Generally-Accepted Accounting Principles. Additionally, candidates must have hospital finance or accounting experience, a thorough understanding of financial accounting, working knowledge of MS Office, McKesson, ERP, and Hyperion, ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, patience and ability to manage stress in a goal-oriented environment, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
