About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Software and Navigation Expert to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our location technologies group, you will be responsible for developing and improving multi-sensor positioning technology.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve multi-sensor positioning technology
  • Craft the next generation of location-aware mobile experiences
  • Work on state-of-the-art technologies
  • Collaborate with customers of location to make best use of your work

Requirements

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis of data from real-world physical systems
  • Familiarity with random/stochastic processes
  • Proficiency in C++
  • Familiarity with GPS/GNSS/radio navigation theory and technology
  • Familiarity with inertial navigation systems
  • Experience processing data at scale server-side

What We Offer

The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have opportunities for discretionary bonuses or commission payments, relocation, and stock programs.
