Job Summary:

Loram Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Service Technician-CDL Driver to join our team. As a Service Technician-CDL Driver, you will be responsible for driving a variety of vehicles for the transport of Company equipment, planning and executing a safe and efficient Bulk fill cycle for both GF and TOR units on various Friction Management customers, and assisting in the service and maintenance of Railroad rail lubrication (Wayside and Hi-Rail) equipment based on the customers' requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a well-running truck and trailer while in possession and after trips, including servicing as needed
  • Ensure equipment is properly loaded, weight distributed, secured, and protected for transportation
  • Drive and/or operate the vehicle to and from the jobsite in a safe and responsible manner
  • Plan and execute a safe and efficient Bulk fill cycle for both GF and TOR units on various Friction Management customers
  • Assist in the service and maintenance of Railroad rail lubrication (Wayside and Hi-Rail) equipment based on the customers' requirements
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/ Equivalent
  • 1+ Years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, hear, taste and smell
  • Can see up close, distances, colors and has use of peripheral vision and depth perception
  • Currently holds a CDL Driver's License and DOT Medical Card
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree with Technical Certification
Working Conditions:
  • Up to 100% travel, including international, using any method of transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
