Job Summary

Xylem I LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vegetation Management Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vegetation management, with a minimum of two years of experience in the field. They will be responsible for operating equipment, maintaining and repairing equipment and tools, and assisting other crew members in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate bucket trucks and other equipment as directed by the Foreperson.
  • Assist in preparing equipment and materials for each day's work.
  • Help maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
  • Assist other crew members in all aspects of daily activities and take a leadership role when required.
  • Clean up and dispose of all debris.
  • Set up barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to protect employees and public.
  • Track and report mileage to the Foreperson.
  • Perform duties for storm work as needed.
  • Submit timesheets and billing information using the AMS system.
  • Maintain above standard customer relations.
  • Accident Reporting.
Requirements
  • Two years' experience in Vegetation Management.
  • Bucket truck operation experience required.
  • Knowledge of daily maintenance and safe operations of all equipment used.
  • Able to hear verbal instructions from a distance.
  • Must have a driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must have skid steer w/ mulcher operation experience.
  • Experience in safe operations and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Must have experience operating woodchipper.
  • Split dump driving experience preferred.
