Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance on transit vehicles adhering to company protocols
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair assigned transit vehicles and mechanical systems
  • Ensure precise upgrades and modifications on vehicle systems, including on-the-road repairs
  • Interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams
  • Guide and mentor team members
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • A minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience with heavy-duty transit equipment
  • Relevant Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening
