As a Registered Nurse in our Medical-Surgical department, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities as a Registered Nurse will include:
Delivering High-Quality Patient Care:
- Assessing patient conditions and identifying areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments.
Maintaining Accurate Records:
- Documenting patient interactions, care provided, and any notable events.
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation to support continuity of care.
Collaborating with the Care Team:
- Communicating effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participating in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Meeting Requirements:
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License or Recognized Compact Licensure.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Advanced certifications preferred (i.e., CEN, TNCC, etc.).
- A minimum of one year Med Surg acute care hospital RN experience.
