Job Summary:

Bowhead Government Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager/Craft Master to join our team. As a Program Manager/Craft Master, you will be responsible for managing and supervising personnel, material, and day-to-day operations in port and at-sea scheduled and unscheduled operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise personnel, material, and day-to-day operations in port and at-sea scheduled and unscheduled operations.
  • Perform Craft Master functions in port or at-sea.
  • Conduct crane operations and at-sea rigging.
  • Hold a current United States Coast Guard (USCG) 100 Ton Master license or Navy 100 Ton Craft Master.
  • Assist with facility maintenance and upkeep, including sweeping, general organization, and housekeeping.
  • Install protective deck coverings, wire valves shut, remove valves, pull cables, and ventilation duct work through ship passageways.
  • Clean soot from auxiliary boilers, install coverings over ship exterior ventilation openings, and secure weather deck doors.
  • Clean topside areas, check and record deck drains, and perform other duties required to prepare the ship for long-term afloat storage.
  • Willing to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and take all required training (safety, security, hazardous material, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
