Job Summary:

The Lifestyle PR Specialist will be responsible for building and managing influencer relations, seeking new promotional opportunities outside of traditional forms of media, and managing BYD's product placement and Brand Ambassador programs. This position requires thorough knowledge of new media platforms and ideally five years or more experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and industry professionals
  • Plan and execute bespoke influencer projects and events
  • Sources and manages product placement opportunities
  • Builds a VIP Brand Ambassador program

Qualifications and Skills:

  • University-level education preferred but not essential
  • At least five years working in communications roles, preferably with a focus on new forms of media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook; strong understanding of the UK media landscape
  • At least five years of communications experience
  • Automotive experience is useful to have but not essential
  • Creativity and open-mindedness
  • Able to adapt quickly according to business requirements
  • Strong teamwork mindset
