Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA

Are you passionate about providing exceptional care to seniors? We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA to join our team at Pine Haven Christian Home.

Job Summary:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents. You will provide assistance with activities of daily living, promote independence, and engage residents in meaningful activities tailored to their interests and abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Address resident needs with respect and attention to safety
  • Engage with residents in a manner that promotes their independence and maintains their dignity
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
  • Follow established care plans to assist residents with personal care and daily living activities
  • Actively engage residents through conversation and companionship
  • Encourage socialization and participation in activities
  • Provide mobility assistance when required
  • Transport or escort residents to meals and activities
  • Document care provided
  • Report any observed changes in a resident's needs and/or condition immediately to a licensed nurse or manager as appropriate
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in caregiving or working with seniors preferred, but not required. We train
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs
  • Maintain good attendance, including timely arrival
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills required
  • Must comply with Pine Haven's policies
  • Understands, supports, and is committed to Pine Haven's Mission, Vision and Values
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must pass background check and drug/TB screening
