Medical Operations Specialist

About the Opportunity
">- This role is a key position within our Cardiac Transcatheter Therapeutics Center, playing a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our ambulatory care clinics.
As a Medical Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the business operations of our clinic, ensuring compliance with medical center policies, regulations, and accreditation standards. You will also troubleshoot day-to-day administrative and IT issues, handle escalated matters, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Perform revenue reconciliation, including RFI/Denials, and compile reimbursement data.
- Maintain patient accounts, interact with collection agencies, and negotiate payment plans.
- Conduct chart reviews, report discrepancies, and update diagnosis and procedure codes to support clinical documentation and maximize reimbursement.
- Monitor daily clinical reporting, provide accurate and timely patient care coordination, and disseminate information effectively.
Requirements
">- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Three years of relevant experience in ambulatory care clinics or a similar setting.
- Thorough knowledge of medical billing practices, coding, billing systems, and documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with ambulatory care clinic practice management, including patient care workflows and processes.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and specialized clinical knowledge of cardiac transcatheter therapeutics.

">$84,768 - $105,208 per annum-
