Insurance Defense Attorney Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in the insurance industry. As a leading firm in the field, we specialize in Insurance Defense, PIP (Personal Injury Protection), and First Party Property cases.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance defense cases, PIP claims, and first-party property disputes.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court proceedings.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
  • Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
  • Prepare witnesses for depositions and trial testimony.
  • Attend and participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Stay updated on changes in insurance laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Manage a caseload and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case files and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in insurance defense.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
  • Experience with drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
