About the Role:

As a Medical Assistant with Northwest Physicians Group, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a Medical Assistant certificate, and current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. You will be responsible for interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and assisting with examination and treatment under the direction of a physician.

Responsibilities:

  • Interview patients and measure vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height
  • Assist with examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients
  • Assist with covering the front desk as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant certificate required or must obtain certification within six (6) months of employment
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days of start date and maintain certification throughout employment
