Job Description

We are recruiting a pool of adjunct faculty with the ability to teach various business analytics subjects such as database systems and SQL, and data analysis with Python, machine learning, and text mining in our MSBA Program.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Review course materials and coordinate course activities with the IMBA course lead instructor.
• Meet all course learning objectives.
• Utilize Montclair State University's Canvas learning management system.
• Provide students with timely, appropriate, and specific feedback.
• Grade assignments and exams within 72 hours.
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
• Hold weekly recitation sessions on site (Lakewood, NJ) as scheduled.
• Submit final grades according to Montclair State University guidelines and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

• MBA or Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) with concentration or specialization in information technology, management information systems, statistics, operations, analytics, or related field.
• 3 or more years of current professional experience in the areas of information technology, management information systems, statistics, operations, analytics, or related field.
• Ability to demonstrate excellence in teaching.
• Proficiency in Python, Machine Learning, or Text Mining.

Estimated Salary Range

$75,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
