Join Our Team:
We are seeking a skilled professional to become a vital part of our XVA development team at SMBC Group. In this position, you will take charge of creating and sustaining XVA simulation applications, tools, and functionalities that serve various departments within our global network. Your primary responsibilities will involve gathering business requirements, converting them into technical specifications, documenting application functionalities, and assisting in quality assurance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for both internal and external software solutions related to daily XVA assessments
- Design and develop new products or features for the XVA desk
- Work closely with business teams to address inquiries related to Credit Risk analysis
- Enhance software performance and operational effectiveness
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python
- Experience in system architecture and software application development
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on mathematical finance
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred
