About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Maryland Athletic Club Harbor East. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a positive experience for our members.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize all female's and male's fitness areas, spa areas, and locker rooms, taking pride in keeping our facilities looking beautiful, clean, and organized.
  • Floor Care: Sweep and vacuum carpet and floors using manual and power equipment, mop, scrub, wax, shampoo, and spot clean carpet and floors.
  • General Maintenance: Clean woodwork, walls, and windows using common household equipment and cleaning products, sweep sidewalks and entry ways, and replace light bulbs and toiletries.
  • Supply Management: Keep equipment and supplies in order and request re-supply when needed.
Requirements
  • Previous Cleaning Experience: You must have previous cleaning experience and be a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional.
  • Supervision and Routine: You must be comfortable working under close supervision of a Manager and following an established routine.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the fitness, spa, hotel, and/or hospitality industry is a plus.
