Job Summary

The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club is seeking a skilled Banquet Server to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for setting up banquet rooms, serving food and beverages, and providing personalized attention to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Set up banquet rooms and event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and decorations according to event specifications.
  • Ensure that all necessary equipment, utensils, and silverware are clean, polished, and properly arranged.
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with seating as needed.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and serve them promptly and accurately.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and preferences and provide personalized service and attention to ensure a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Clear tables, remove used dishes and utensils, and replenish supplies as needed throughout the event.
  • Assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks, including removing linens, folding chairs, and dismantling decorations.
Requirements
  • Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, and follow instructions.
  • Ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure.
  • Serving and set up experience preferred; must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol, per state law.
