About the Role

ZARRELLCO is seeking a skilled Construction Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Development:
    • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to create comprehensive project schedules.
    • Utilize scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to establish baselines, critical paths, and milestones.
  • Schedule Monitoring and Updating:
    • Regularly update schedules to reflect progress, changes, and delays.
    • Identify and mitigate potential scheduling conflicts or delays by proposing solutions or alternative plans.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Facilitate regular schedule review meetings with project teams to assess progress and address any issues.
    • Provide detailed reports and presentations on schedule status, including forecasts, risks, and recovery plans.
  • Risk Management and Analysis:
    • Analyze project schedules to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
    • Monitor critical path activities and alert project teams to potential delays.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed scheduling documentation for project records and audits.
    • Prepare and distribute progress reports, schedule narratives, and updates to clients and stakeholders.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
    • At least 3 years of experience as a Construction Scheduler or similar title in the construction industry.
    • Experience assisting on projects over $10M in size.
    • Proficiency in scheduling software like Primavera P6, MS Project.
    • Ability to travel to sites in the Boston area as needed.
    Compensation:
    • $65-95K salary depending on experience.
