Position Overview

The Operations Team Leader plays a pivotal role in steering a diverse team and overseeing all facets of business operations. This critical position is responsible for directing process initiatives at the local division and managing operational functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a hands-on leadership style, fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and cultivate a culture of transparency, disciplined problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including delivery logistics, cost management, inventory control, productivity, and sales objectives.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing constructive feedback to achieve both individual and organizational goals.
  • Ensure quality service by enforcing customer service standards, analyzing service issues, and recommending system enhancements.
  • Review and refine operational processes to identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Plan and assess business processes to enhance speed, quality, and output.
  • Make financially responsible decisions in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain controls and feedback systems to monitor operational performance.
  • Analyze performance data, including financial and sales reports, to gauge departmental productivity and effectiveness.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant supervisory or management experience.

  • Expertise in capacity planning, forecasting, and real-time management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
