Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist at Tru Family Dental, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of patient medical and dental histories, as well as current treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by maintaining open communication with colleagues and adhering to our practice's core values.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in MI
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
