Job Overview

Sterling Engineering Inc. is currently seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on various water and wastewater infrastructure projects, utilizing your technical expertise and leadership skills.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, permitting, inspecting, and constructing water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pump stations, distribution systems, collection systems, storage tanks, and treatment facilities. You will also coordinate with other design disciplines, such as traffic, geotechnical, environmental, mechanical/electrical, and survey, to ensure successful project delivery.

Your strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment will enable you to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Required Attributes:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater infrastructure planning, design, and construction administration
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Attributes:
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
  • Experience with Microstation, Revit, ArcGIS, WaterGEMS, and/or SewerGEMS
