The Financial Services Associate is responsible for providing guests with various cash handling services while ensuring the security of casino assets. This role involves executing and fulfilling all responsibilities within designated cash handling areas.
Key Responsibilities
Operate as a cash handler in various facilities, including kiosks and vaults, based on operational needs and personal expertise. Ensure that all transactions are conducted efficiently and promptly, utilizing effective communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external guests. Maintain proper security and accountability for all company assets, including keys, currency, and funds within assigned cash handling areas. Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Complete necessary forms, logs, and reports related to transactions. Responsible for counting, verifying, and documenting all cash and revenue transactions. Accurately report tips in compliance with relevant regulations for all team members. Prepare and manage bank deposits and currency exchanges. Handle check cashing and cash advance transactions. Manage the operation of automated currency dispensing units. Process payouts for slot jackpots and table game fills/credits. Issue and redeem markers for credit lines. Conduct opening and closing cash inventories at the start and end of each shift. Ensure accurate processing of daily revenue. Receive and verify daily revenue from gaming operations. Comply with all relevant regulations and standards. Provide training and support for new or promoted cash handling staff. Uphold high standards of personal grooming and conduct as per company guidelines. Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative in daily tasks. Ensure that all equipment in cash handling areas is maintained and cleaned properly. Maintain a consistent and reliable attendance record in line with business requirements. Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience handling cash in a banking or cashier role is preferred. Strong guest service skills with a focus on interaction. Experience in a casino environment is advantageous. Knowledge of machine repair is a plus. Must pass a basic math skills assessment. Any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary skills and knowledge is acceptable. Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.Certifications and Licenses
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming commission license. Required to pass drug and alcohol testing.Employee Benefits
