Role Summary and RequirementsThe Clinical Nutrition Specialist will be a knowledgeable and skilled dietetic professional with a Bachelor’s degree or higher, responsible for assessing, implementing interventions, and monitoring patient outcomes through the Nutrition Care Process. This position emphasizes exceptional customer service for both patients and staff.
Qualifications Needed:Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Master’s Degree Preferred
Registered Dietitian certification required within six months of hire
Licenses, Certifications, & Training:
State Dietitian License required within six months of hire
Professional Qualifications:
Maintain a professional portfolio with at least 75 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) within a five-year period.
- Commission on Dietetic Registration must be achieved within 60 months of employment start date.
- State Dietitian License must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
