Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Firewall Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting security solutions for our clients. This includes gap assessment and analysis of security solutions, implementation of scalable and redundant firewall solutions, and security hardening of firewall configurations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and redundant firewall solutions
  • Perform gap assessment and analysis of security solutions
  • Implement security hardening of firewall configurations
  • Manage firewall operational and security audits logs
  • Define and develop firewall security and operational alerts, dashboards, and reporting
  • Monitor firewall operational and security alerts and dashboards
  • Define, implement, and monitor process/procedures for maintaining the lifecycle firewall policies and rules
Requirements:
  • At least 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering/Architecture
  • At least 5 years of technical experience in architecture, design, implementation, support of firewall technologies
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification or hands-on experience implementing Palo Alto Advanced/NextGen features
  • Self-starter, able to gather requirements, plan, execute firewall architecting and deployment efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong demonstrated experience with network security architecture, design, and implementation best-practices
  • Hands-on experience with firewall architecture, design, and implementation
  • Hands-on experience with operational and security hardening configuration for firewall solutions
