Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

In this position, you will:

  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems by altering, removing, or upgrading components to rectify issues or implement enhancements.
  • Oversee the assembly and disassembly processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Configure aerospace vehicles and conduct bench tests on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot intricate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and repair faults.
  • Perform validation and verification testing on systems and components.
  • Document procedures and processes to maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Inspect components and verify repairs to meet flight safety standards.
  • Provide oversight and training to team members.

Project Details:

The technician will be engaged in aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification projects, working within a team of six professionals. The role may involve physical demands such as heavy lifting and working in confined spaces.


Essential Tools:

Familiarity with basic tools such as hammers, wrenches, and aircraft support equipment is required.


Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Experience in modification, repair, and retrofitting of aerospace systems.
  • General experience with large military aircraft.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing C-17 aircraft.
  • Expertise in aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting and operational checkout.
  • Knowledge of aircraft avionics troubleshooting and operational checkout.

Educational Background:

Typically, candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED, along with four or more years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with first shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
