Project Details:
The technician will be engaged in aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification projects, working within a team of six professionals. The role may involve physical demands such as heavy lifting and working in confined spaces.
Essential Tools:
Familiarity with basic tools such as hammers, wrenches, and aircraft support equipment is required.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience in modification, repair, and retrofitting of aerospace systems.
- General experience with large military aircraft.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing C-17 aircraft.
- Expertise in aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting and operational checkout.
- Knowledge of aircraft avionics troubleshooting and operational checkout.
Educational Background:
Typically, candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED, along with four or more years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with first shift hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
