About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician Helper to join our team at Freeport-McMoRan Inc. in Claypool, AZ. As an Electrician Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the removal, repair, and installation of electrical components and basic to intermediate troubleshooting.
  • Support the safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs.
  • Contribute to performing preventative maintenance, installation, and repair of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment.
  • Assist with troubleshooting of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • One year of electrical experience or an Associate's degree in electrical or electrical JTED certification.
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
  • Effective written, verbal, and communication skills to satisfy training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of the company.
  • Able to perform the essential functions of the job at the time of the job offer with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must have completed academic and practical competencies required and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude.
