Procurement Specialist

Role Overview:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing procurement operations and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services. Your role will involve:
  • Executing procurement processes and operational strategies, including preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), negotiating terms, and conducting cost analyses to meet client needs.
  • Overseeing purchasing activities to guarantee that all acquisitions align with the organization's objectives and standards.
  • Generating purchase orders, authorizing payments, and negotiating pricing to facilitate a seamless procurement workflow.
  • Compiling and analyzing price proposals and financial data to inform decision-making regarding reasonable pricing.
  • Drafting RFPs and bid documents for potential new accounts while monitoring contract compliance and performance.
  • Engaging with suppliers to manage delivery schedules and resolve issues related to shortages or delays.
  • Contributing as a key professional within the team, handling complex challenges with minimal supervision.
  • Exerting influence over team members by articulating facts, policies, and procurement practices.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Procurement and Purchasing
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of RFP and RFQ processes
