Job Summary:

The GIS Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing GIS data, conducting spatial analysis, and producing maps for environmental projects. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement GIS solutions for environmental management projects
  • Analyze and interpret GIS data to inform project decisions
  • Create and manage GIS databases and datasets
  • Produce high-quality maps and reports for clients
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project success
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in GIS, with a focus on environmental applications
  • Strong knowledge of GIS software, including ArcGIS
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • GIS certification (e.g., GISP)
  • Experience with environmental remediation and restoration projects
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
