Job Title: Special Systems Designer/Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Systems Designer/Engineer to join our team at Arora Engineers, LLC. As a key member of our Design Studio, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical accuracy of all products produced through our studio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Special Systems Design and Engineering work, ensuring accuracy and completeness of finished product design.
  • Develop solutions to various engineering problems, collaborating with the technical discipline lead to enhance the technical expertise of all studio staff.
  • Support the generation of proposals and presentations, providing accurate data and information to ensure specifications' accuracy.
  • Write technical specifications and develop technical cost estimates, ensuring accuracy in meeting applicable codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in projects during design, bidding, and construction administration, interfacing with existing clients, outside consultants, and vendors.
  • Communicate engineering explanations to non-engineering staff, performing day-to-day QA/QC functions as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification Required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Preferred.
  • Professional Engineering licensure (P.E.) preferred.
  • A minimum of at least four years of progressive experience required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Thorough knowledge of design-to-completion engineering processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering principles and design packages.
  • Ability to develop thorough knowledge of Company standards.
  • Use of BIM (Revit) and CAD (AutoCAD).
  • Thorough knowledge of QA/QC.
  • Exceptional communications skills.
  • Maintains discretion.
  • Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
