Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit at Temecula Valley Hospital. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Documenting Patient Care: Accurately document all patient activities, treatments, and interactions in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
- Observing Patient Behavior: Observe and report on patient behavior, focusing on biophysical, developmental, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and sociocultural needs.
- Providing Supportive Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
- Communicating with Patients and Families: Respond to patient calls, answer questions, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborating with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Education and Training: Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and completion of an accredited CNA program.
- Certifications and Licenses: BLS Certification (AHA and current) and CPI or NCI certification within 90 days of hire and annual renewal thereafter.
- Experience: Six (6) months CNA experience preferred at an acute care facility.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to work in a high-volume, fluctuating census environment, subject to many interruptions, and irregular hours.
