About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Temecula Valley Hospital. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Document all activities performed in accordance with established policy.
  • Observe patient behavior, focusing on biophysical, developmental, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and sociocultural needs.
  • Perform secretarial/clerical aspects of patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Prioritize and process physician orders accurately and within designated time frames.
  • Answer patient calls, receive, greet, and direct patients/visitors, and record and deliver messages for patients/staff.
Qualifications
  • Current, valid CA Certified Nursing Assistant certificate.
  • Evidence of completion of Nursing Fundamentals within the last 24 months from an accredited Registered Nursing program and currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • BLS Certification (AHA and current).
  • CPI or NCI certified within 120 days of hire and annual renewal thereafter.
