Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tax Return Oversight: Manage and prepare around 200 tax returns annually, primarily focusing on Form 1040s and 1041s, with some Form 1065s.
  • Business Growth Initiatives: Lead the expansion of our tax services by attracting and retaining clients in need of accounting solutions.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the profitability of the tax division, with opportunities to share in its success as it grows.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with wealth management advisors and clients to ensure a comprehensive approach to financial management.
  • Tax Projections Assistance: Support clients with tax projections throughout the year, helping them navigate potential tax liabilities and optimization strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in tax return preparation, particularly with Forms 1040, 1041, and 1065.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to articulate complex tax concepts clearly to clients.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for developing and leading a business division.
