Job Summary:

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students with communication disorders, including language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Conduct intensive group and individual therapy sessions, using a variety of techniques and strategies to promote communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of student treatment plans and progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree from an accredited university in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current NYSED registration as a Speech/Language Pathologist required.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency.
  • Experience working with students with complex communication needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
